Use this page to opt out of the sale of your personal information, or to ask what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy, or appeal a decision. No account is needed. We respond within 45 days, and opt-outs take effect on our side the moment you submit them.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Montana Solar Estimate provides your contact request to licensed solar installers that serve your address, who pay us for it, and to no one else. If you opt out, we will not provide your information to any installer from now on, we will tell every installer that already received your request that you have opted out, and we will add your number to our do-not-contact list. Choose the first option below, enter the mobile number or email you used, and submit.
What happens next
- Your request is logged with a reference number and a 45-day deadline. Opt-outs and deletions that include a mobile number take effect immediately on our side.
- We may confirm the request from the email address or mobile number it concerns. We never require verification for an opt-out, but we may decline one we reasonably and in good faith believe is fraudulent, and we will tell you if we do.
- If we need more time (up to 45 more days) we will tell you why before the first 45 days are up. One request per 12 months is free; we tell you before charging anything for more.
- If we decline a request, you may appeal using this form (choose “Appeal”). We answer appeals in writing within 60 days, and if we deny an appeal you may contact the Montana Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection.
- An authorized agent may submit a request for you; we may ask for proof of the authorization.
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of targeted advertising and sale. We do no targeted advertising, and the only sale we make is the one you request by checking the consent box; if your browser sends the signal, the contact step says so and asks you to confirm that specific request.
